Green Party Society: President

This year, I have had the privilege of founding and serving as the first President of our society. Taking this from an idea to an officially affiliated society required a lot of teamwork organisation. I drafted our constitution, built a committee from scratch, and established connections with local networks. Im now very proud to say we have a strong foundation but we are just starting.

With a term two affiliation, we were limited in how much activity we could deliver this year. Much of our time was spent building the society but next year I want to really put this in to practice and deliver you weekly socials, canvassing ,campaign days and action. I want us to collaborate more closely with local branches and make sure our society is present, active, and making a difference beyond campus.

This year was for the foundation and next year is year is for building momentum together. I would be honoured to lead the society through it and watch my hard work pay off.
