Government and Politics Society: Vice President

My goal is to strengthen GovPol as a dynamic, visible political space that is well-organised and genuinely engaging.

I will:

• Establish a clear term roadmap with monthly flagship events — from live election-night watch parties to crisis simulations, mock parliamentary committees and policy-drafting workshops.

• Launch a “Politics in Practice” series featuring civil servants, campaign staffers and policy advisors — focused on how decisions are actually made behind the scenes.

• Introduce collaborative cross-society debates and rapid-response panels reacting to breaking political developments.

• Create a structured internal system to ensure consistent planning, accountability and delivery across the committee.

Politics should feel alive — urgent, interactive and relevant.

Through my leadership experience across student initiatives, I have coordinated teams, managed external partnerships and multi-stakeholder projects. My background in journalism and advocacy has strengthened my ability to analyse complex issues, communicate clearly and engage diverse audiences.

I am detail-oriented, reliable and calm under pressure, combining depth and logistical structure needed to assist a successful society. I believe strong leadership is not just about vision — it’s about follow-through.
