Gliding Club: Welfare Officer

Aviation has always been a passion of mine, and being part of the UCL Gliding Club has deepened my appreciation for this amazing activity. As Welfare Officer, I aim to ensure that the club remains a supportive and inclusive space for everyone, whether you're an experienced glider or just starting out.

I have experience working with young adults in previous roles, where I supported individuals in creating a positive and welcoming environment. I understand the importance of listening to members and responding to their needs. My focus will be on making sure everyone feels heard, supported, and safe within the club.

I’ll strive to foster a community where every member can enjoy their time in a safe, respectful, and positive atmosphere. It’s about building a space where individuals feel comfortable, valued, and part of the team.

Hey! This is Anastazia, 2nd MEng student in Bartlett. It’s my second year being on the commitee and I’m honoured to work with such a lovely team and support our gliding members. I know how this team operates and am experienced with helping the club run smoothly! I have helped organised events and ran the social media in the past year, which reflects my ability to perform.
