Financial Literacy Matters Society: Treasurer

Hi everyone! I’m Jake, a first-year History student.

I’m standing for Treasurer because I’d like to contribute to the running of a society that promotes an important and often overlooked skill: financial literacy. Clear and responsible financial management is essential for ensuring that societies can organise accessible and engaging events for their members.

As Treasurer, I would aim to manage the society’s finances carefully and transparently, supporting the committee in planning events and ensuring resources are used effectively so that the society can continue providing valuable opportunities for students.
