With my ability to cold approach, network and organize events, my skillsets position me to be a viable candidate for the role of Startup Fair executive.
My experience of already working in a corporate environment for a couple of years; and being able to work with cross cultural teams will be an asset for the Entrepreneurs Society.
I myself being invested in an entrepreneurial endeavor, makes me the perfect candidate for this role as I witness the pain points startups would face and would be able to cater to their needs, or be better prepared to handle problems. This experience would also be useful for me to have as an international student, and would greatly add to my experience of being at UCL. I would love to be a part of the Entrepreneurs Society and support each other in making our dreams become a reality.
I am excited to nominate myself for the position of Startup Fair Executive within the Entrepreneurs Society.
Having recently completed the UCL Entrepreneurship – Explore Programme, I’ve developed a strong foundation in venture creation, opportunity validation, and ecosystem engagement. The programme strengthened my desire to build — whether that means launching my own startup or contributing meaningfully within an early-stage venture. Most importantly, it confirmed that I want to be deeply embedded in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The London startup landscape is dynamic, ambitious, and opportunity-rich. I want to be at the centre of that energy. Serving as Startup Fair Executive would allow me to connect founders, investors, and aspiring entrepreneurs while helping curate an event that genuinely adds value — not just as a networking opportunity, but as a catalyst for real collaboration.
I am particularly interested in venture building and early-stage innovation. Through this role, I would aim to:
- Attract diverse and high-potential startups to the fair
- Strengthen relationships with ecosystem partners
- Ensure the event creates tangible opportunities for students and founders
- Contribute strategic ideas to elevate the fair’s impact and reputation
I would be honored to contribute to the Entrepreneurs Society as Startup Fair Executive and help create an event that inspires action, ambition, and meaningful connections.
I am standing for London Startup Fair Executive because I care deeply about building a platform that doesn’t just showcase startups, but actively accelerates them. As member of the Outreach & Operations team and a point of contact for startup exhibitors for London Startup Fair 2026, I’ve seen the potential this event has to become the flagship student startup gathering in London. I want to help turn it into a high-impact bridge between UCL founders, investors, and operators across the ecosystem.
I understand the chaos of early-stage building: fundraising, partnerships, product-market fit, and execution under pressure. I want to use that experience to curate sharper founder selection, stronger investor engagement, and more meaningful follow-ups after the fair — so startups leave with traction, not just applause. London Startup Fair can be more than an event. It can be the launchpad where UCL founders get their first cheque, first pilot, or first believer. I’m standing to help build that standard.

I’m running for an Executive position at the London Startup Fair because I’m passionate about creating events that genuinely connect students with startups and opportunities.
As Head of Events at UCL Data Science Society, I’ve helped organise and scale some of our biggest events—from career panels to hackathons—many of which sold out with 100+ attendees. I’ve also planned successful events with UCL Division Women in Tech, working across teams to deliver engaging and accessible tech communities.
For the London Startup Fair, I’d focus on expanding outreach across all four universities, strengthening startup partnerships for the showcase and pitching competition, and supporting high-quality branding and promotion so the event attracts both top startups and engaged students. I’d also prioritise creating a well-structured, memorable experience that makes it easy for attendees to network, learn, and discover opportunities.
With my experience in event leadership, promotion, and cross-team collaboration, I’m confident I can contribute to delivering a London Startup Fair that is impactful, well-attended, and exciting for everyone involved.
I've pitched sponsors, marketed a product from zero, and navigated the uncertainty of building something from scratch. But more than any of that, I know what it feels like to walk into a room not knowing what you're looking for - and walk out with exactly what you needed.
Building my PropTech startup - an AI receptionist for property firms, taught me that the right introduction is worth more than the best pitch deck. One conversation with the right person unlocked a meeting that shaped my entire product.
That's when I understood what a room full of the right people can do.
So why me?
Because I don't just organise rooms - I connect people inside them. I naturally pick up on who should meet who, and I make it happen. I'll also leverage my industry connections to bring in the right startups, investors, and partners from day one. That instinct is rare, and it's exactly what a Startup Fair needs at the top. Anyone can book a venue and fill it with stalls. The difference is whether students leave with a contact that changes something for them.
That's the fair I want to create.
Startups have always genuinely excited me. I love the idea of taking something from a rough concept to a real, working project, and this role feels like a natural place for me to contribute while learning from others who share that drive.
I volunteer at founders’ events, helping with organisation and coordination. These experiences have given me a behind-the-scenes understanding of what makes startup events welcoming, well-run, and genuinely valuable for attendees.
I also have hands-on experience in marketing and brand representation, having previously worked as a brand ambassador. This taught me how important communication, presentation, and audience engagement are, especially in fast-paced startup environments.
Alongside my studies, I teach business part-time, which has really strengthened my confidence, organisation, and communication skills. Teaching has pushed me to lead, adapt quickly, and explain ideas in a supportive and approachable way.
I have always been interested in building things from the ground up: creating websites, designing pitch decks, market research, and breaking down ideas so they are clear, engaging, and easy to understand.
As London Startup Fair Executive, I would bring enthusiasm, reliability, and a collaborative mindset, and I would love to help create an event that feels inspiring, accessible, and memorable for everyone involved.
