Enactus Society: Events Officer

Hi everyone! I am Nisa and I am a year 2 Politics and International Relations student.

I have been a member of Enactus UCL since October 2025. I have the experience required for this role since I have helped organising different events with the society. For example, I took part in shaping, as well as promoting, the workshop in collaboration with the SU Social Impact with Karen Oosterhoff. Furthermore, I have attended the Enactus regional qualifiers in November 2025 where I acquired the practical skills and knowledge needed to shape a social enterprise that works for the organisation.

Additional to my previous experience with Enactus, I have obtained the skills needed for events officer with my role at Women's Network as the social secretary. For instance, I hosted pizza and board games nights that turned out to be very popular and successful!

If I get this role I will be hosting:

• more pizza and pitch events where you could come and express your own social enterprise ideas
  • and receive feedback!
• interactive workshops to improve your skills needed for the shaping of an entrepreneurial project
  • that you could use to enhance your CV, interviews and professional life
  • and take advantage of it to build networks
