Education Society: Outreach/Social Media Officer

I’m standing for Social Media and Outreach Officer because I’m genuinely passionate about connecting people and strengthening the Education Society’s presence across UCL. I’m a very social person who enjoys meeting new people and collaborating with others, which I believe is key to effective outreach and engagement.

As the former President of my school’s Mental Health Society, I ran social media campaigns, designed promotional content, and organised events that reached a wide audience. I love using tools like Canva to create visually engaging posts and often manage projects through Instagram — combining creativity with communication. My part-time work with the UCL East Engagement Team also deepened my understanding of how outreach can grow through collaboration with larger organisations.

I’d love to be part of the Education Society committee and help expand its reach and influence across UCL :)
