Drama Society: Marketing Officer

Hello! I'm Charis, a second-year BA Creative Arts and Humanities student. As the current Workshops Officer for the society I have culminated strong communication, collaborative and organisational skills this past year. I have gained a lot of insight on how the society and committee functions, which would be useful to bring forward. 

Having directed Hedda Gabler (Blooms Studio show) in Term 1, I know these skills are important to ensure a steady marketing campaign to increase engagement with society activity and productions. From hosting workshops, I know how important marketing is to advertise society events and to welcome more freshers and other students who haven’t participated before into the society.   

I am proficient in digital editing platforms such as Canva and DaVinci Resolve, and am confident in my ability in graphic design, filming and video editing. I have prior experience in marketing as part of my course and outside work, this is something that I really enjoy, and would be grateful to be given the opportunity to be Marketing Officer for Drama Society next year.
