Detective Society: Event Director

I’m applying for Events Director because I’d love to help create engaging and memorable experiences for members of the Detective Society. I’ve really enjoyed being part of the society and seeing how events like movie nights and mystery-solving sessions bring people together around shared interests! As a PhD student in Security and Crime Science, crime and investigation are topics I’m genuinely passionate about, which makes this society especially exciting to be involved in. If elected, I’d work to organise a mix of fun and interactive events, such as escape rooms, museum visits, mystery nights and movie screenings, while making sure members’ ideas and interests shape what we do next!
