Dermatology Society: Events Officer

Hello! My name is Izzy and I am running for the role of Events Officer because I’ve really enjoyed the range of activities the Dermatology Society has organised this year, particularly the teaching series and the London Universities Dermatology Conference. These events showed me how valuable well-planned society events can be in bringing students together and encouraging interest in the specialty.

If elected, I would aim to organise a mix of academic and social events throughout the year, such as revision-focused teaching sessions, guest talks from dermatology clinicians, and interactive case-based workshops. I would also be keen to help organise another dermatology conference or a student-led symposium, as well as smaller social events that allow members to connect with others who share an interest in dermatology. 

Overall, my goal would be to help create engaging events that are accessible, well-promoted and enjoyable for students across all year groups.
