Criminal Justice Society: Treasurer

I wish to be the steward of the Criminal Justice Society’s funds so that I can partake in 
some light embezzlement and experience the criminal justice system first hand.

Only joking, I believe taking on this responsibility will allow me to contribute more 
meaningfully to the society and its direction moving forward. I want to make sure the 
society remains financially healthy through my own organised and structured approach 
to financial management. 

I wish to support the committee by handling an area which is essential for events and 
activities – something which I was heavily invested in through my role on the events 
subcommittee. 

Additionally, I want members to feel confident that their money is being handled with 
integrity and due care. As someone with a working knowledge of trust and fiduciary law I 
am aware of what would be an overreach of my power to manage the funds. 

Finally, I am interested in developing my own skills further, and I see this role as a useful 
way to practically improve my commercial awareness.
