Conservative Society: Treasurer

I am standing for Treasurer because I combine financial competence with proven leadership experience and a strong commitment to strengthening our society.

Studying PPE with Social Data Science has sharpened my quantitative skills, attention to detail, and analytical discipline — all essential for managing budgets responsibly and making evidence-based decisions. Alongside this, I have held leadership roles requiring accountability, transparency, and structured decision-making.

I have experience handling budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring financial compliance within student organisations. I understand the importance of accurate record-keeping, clear communication with the committee, and maintaining strong relationships with the Students’ Union to ensure funding and reimbursements run smoothly.

Beyond technical skills, I bring reliability, professionalism, and strategic thinking. I am organised, deadline-oriented, and comfortable making careful financial judgments that balance ambition with sustainability. Treasurer is a trust-based role, and members deserve confidence that funds are managed prudently and in the society’s long-term interest.
