Hannah Lebor

I believe I would be an ideal fit for this position due to a number of reasons. As a philosophy student I enjoy writing about under represented ideas and controversial topics. From my recent internship as a research intern at the Danube Institute in Budapest I learned key skills such as Blog style and Op-ed writing, pitching as well as formulating new paper ideas and of course in depth research under time pressure. Furthermore, 1 am currently a writer for the Law for All society paper where I translate legal analysis to Law affiliate students and explore current affairs. Lastly, from these experiences I have learned what makes a good publication and I am able to curate pieces which resonate with the reader base.
This is a vital a skill for any editor. I would support my columnists and creative colleagues with feedback and take all ideas pitched to me into consideration. I am incredibly excited about this opportunity and the magazine would reflect my passion for writing and editing.
