Cheese Grater Magazine: Graphics Editor

Hi! Im Jinn, I like to draw and drawing graphics for Cheese Grater articles has been a blast! So why not become an editor???

My credentials: 

• UCL Department of Political Science to require students to establish their own dictatorship (pretty proud of this one)
• Jeremy Bentham missing from glass box as Louvre jewels stolen two days later
• Jonty articles (not the first one though)
• UCL anarchist society "elects" first ever "president"

IF I were to be elected…

• I would encourage more people to join graphics by scheduling drawing/sketching sessions to learn how to draw and create fun graphics 
• Introduce more creative hangouts like weekly sip and draw/sketch sessions
• Do my best to resurrect graphic of the week

Hi! I’m Michelle, and I’ve been drawing for The Cheese Grater’s graphics for the past year. 

Over this year, I’ve done funny little drawings and larger, more experimental graphics. In this role, I want to delegate tasks and make sure that every piece gets a graphic assigned to it by sending out frequent updates on whatsapp and encouraging non-graphics people to give it a try. But I'm also happy to do last-minute drawings when needed! 

A few things I wanna try out: 

• Doing more graphics evenings during the humour and graphics meeting, where everyone, graphics or not, gets to draw based on the articles we have.  
• Having a ‘life drawing’ session with the Bentham’s auto-icon, the Portico, the Student Centre… 
• Continuing to play (Kotryna’s) Gartic Phone during some meetings! 
• And lastly, to resurrect the graphics of the week, by doing graphics of the fortnight, and slowly push it to weekly.
