Caledonian Society: Welfare Officer

Ceilidh dancing has been a way to create community throughout history. As someone who believes community values are key to wellbeing, I hope that as welfare officer for CalSoc I can help to create a friendly and welcoming space for anyone who wants to have fun and relax. I believe my communication skills and general friendliness/extraversion makes me the perfect fit for this role, alongside my passion for dancing as an important part of self expression, community and mental health. I personally experienced how much CalSoc helped my own wellbeing at university and I hope to give the same to others.
