Bridge Society: Treasurer

I am applying for Treasurer because Bridge Society has been an important part of my UCL journey, and I would like to support our continued growth while preserving the welcoming community that makes us special.

Through the society, I’ve made close friends, benefited from regular training, and had the opportunity to represent UCL at the Portland Bowl, where I learned from other university teams. What I value most is the relaxed, supportive environment that motivates us to keep improving.

As Treasurer, I would focus on managing our society’s finances responsibly to support sustainable growth. This includes allocating funds for beginner workshops to attract new players, small prizes for intra-UCL events, and future initiatives such as collaborations or society merchandise as membership grows.

My aim would be to use the society’s resources carefully and transparently, helping our society expand while maintaining the close-knit, friendly atmosphere that makes it enjoyable for everyone.
