SANA KHANNA for Treasurer: because even the best science needs a solid balance sheet! 

As an Applied Medical Sciences student, I’m immersed in the science we all care about. Still, I’ve always been equally fascinated by the strategy and business that drive the industry forward. I’m standing for Treasurer because strong ideas need strong financial support, and I want to ensure our society has the resources to host the high-impact events and industry speakers that bring our community closer to the biopharma world.

Last summer, I interned at a global commodity trading firm, where handling financial documents for international shipments taught me to be meticulous, organized, and accountable with money. I’ve also founded a Consulting Club from scratch, where I learned how to manage budgets and turn limited resources into meaningful opportunities for students.

If elected,I will focus on two clear priorities:

• Expanding Industry Partnerships: I will help grow our sponsorships with biopharma companies so we can host larger networking events and bring more industry speakers and career opportunities to members.
• Responsible and Transparent Budgeting: Ensuring society funds are managed carefully and spent transparently towards the events and opportunities that benefit members most.

As your Treasurer, I promise to be reliable,approachable, and responsible. I’d deeply appreciate your vote to help UCL Biopharma Society grow and thrive.
