I will make bartlett great again, I will build walls and stop wars and make Bartlett into bart-LIT. I am so excited to make so much free merchandise that people will actually want to wear, as well as socks for bartlett soc. I think I can see a bright bright future for the society,
Together we will make the Bartlett great again. even greater than it already is, which many already people say is very great

We will have the best bartlett pub socials ever, the biggest ball there has ever been. We will prank the AA (architectural association) More often and have more gang rivalry with them

ME ESME AND ELLIE FOREVER

Ian Blashe

Hi everyone! I'm Ian– second-year BSc architecture student, and I scuba dive. We've been in the same building for years, but I don’t know your equivalent. We probably don't know each other, and it shouldn't be like this.

The Bartlett is full of some of the most interesting, driven, and genuinely unique people I've ever met, and yet most of us barely know each other. We're buried in our own studios, on our own floors, inside our own deadlines, and the school can feel surprisingly small for a place this full of life.

The society already does great things with the talks, the socials, and the Ball. I'd push to make all of those better, but I also want to add to them:

  • Collective museum visits and group access to small design galleries eg. Drawing Matter
  • Studio & firm visits
  • Short collaborative design events
  • Some much needed new merch

…Events that actually mix up the courses, and socials that feel worth leaving your desk for!

While these are all things that I'd push to improve as President, I think there's a real opportunity to make it feel less like a calendar of events and more like an actual community. Whether you're on the BSc, the MArch, MSci, AIS– everyone here chose this place for a reason, and I think we'd all be richer for knowing each other better.

I want the Bartlett Society to be something you actually look forward to. Vote for me if that sounds good to you!
