Aviation Society: President

Hey i’m Deeja, I’ve really enjoyed my time at AvSoc and I would love the chance to be President for the next academic year. I believe there’s huge untapped potential for events with other societies/unis and we can really widen our reach and engage a much broader network of students. I would definitely love to have more plane spotting events, especially 27L at Heathrow which we haven’t been able to do this year (yet) - I also think it would be great to have more ranged events like flight simulators and career talks for those aspiring to a career in Aviation. But overall my biggest aim is to maximise engagement and strengthen our presence across UCL by bringing in more members. I’m super passionate about this and will treat AvSoc like my baby. My fave aircraft is the Dreamliner and I hope to be reposting a lot of F-22 Linkin Park edits on the society instagram page.
