Autism Society: President

I am currently the welfare officer and vice president, and with our great president Danilo not running this year, I would like to try and continue and expand the autism society on top of his work.

I will continue regular socials with the society, and look into other committee members being able to host alternative times for socials so that more people are able to engage with the society.  I also want to expand the engagement with online spaces for the society for the members who can't attend in person events often.

There has been a lot of resources created by members of the autism society to help people with our individual symptoms, and I think it would be great to have a centralised place for these resources to be shared. I would set up a Google drive folder or potentially a website for members to be able to upload any helpful resources to.

When students join UCL, I think the autism society should be advertised to anyone who has identified themselves as autistic during the application process as it could help autistic students engage with an autistic community for potentially the first time.
