Asiatic Affairs Society: Marketing Officer

Hi everyone!  I’m Hannah, and have been a writer in the society this year.  Being part of the society has really shown me how meaningful it is to bring people together, through our CNY dinner gathering or even social games nights where people from different backgrounds and degrees can connect over our shared interest in Asian culture.  What I love most about this society is how comfortable it feels to share your ideas.  As marketing director, my goal is to use social media more creatively so more students can discover our society and hopefully find their “homies” here, just like I did.  I’ve continuously worked with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva through my urban planning degree.  I am confident my ability in using these softwares can help us create engaging content and increase our visibility across campus.  More importantly, I want to continue building a warm and welcoming space where everyone feels included.
