Asian Social Network Society: President

When I first came to UCL Asian Social Network was a huge part of my student experience and I had so much joy being part of a community that were brought together through their heritage. Unfortunately, the presence of the society has been dissipating over the past few years and I want to bring back the space and experiences that really made my time here. 

I want to bring back the regular weekly socials and fun events like the annual picnic, speedfriending, games night, scavenger hunt, intercultural collaborations and more. I will continue to incorporate different cultures and make sure to represent the Asian diaspora. I would ensure to be a reliable president and someone that can bring back this home away from home. Having also been Publicity Officer previously a few years ago, I believe I know what will be required to regain the success we once had and the welcoming environment.

I've had the opportunity to meet many incredible and lovely people and hope to allow more people to have the same experience I did!
