Asia-Pacific Law Society: Vice President

I'm Lachlan, a first-year LLB student from Hong Kong. I've been involved with the APAC Law Society this year and I'm running for VP because I think this society has good potential to be more useful for its members.
As VP, I'd focus on three things. First, bringing in speakers who can actually help - trainees and associates who have experience between London and Asia, rather than generic panels. Second, building connections with firms that have a strong Asia Pacific presence so our events create real networking opportunities. Third, making the society more visible to students who might not know about it yet.
I'm trilingual in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, grew up in Hong Kong, and have been president of two societies before.
