Aaliya McKee

Hi everyone, I’m Aaliya, a first year on the BASc majoring in Cultures and minoring in Sciences & Engineering. I’m really excited to get involved with the committee next year and help us all enjoy the uniqueness of our degree and our interdisciplinary community!

I am an organised and reliable individual with strong problem solving and analytical skills. As treasurer, I would ensure that the society’s finances are kept in meticulous order, enabling everyone to enjoy and benefit from everything that Arts and Sciences society has to offer. I would also provide the president with valuable support in planning, organising and ensuring the smooth running of all events.

Corinna Del Gaudio

I’m running for Treasurer because I want to help manage the society’s funds responsibly and efficiently, ensuring that engaging and impactful events can continue to be organised.

Serving as First-Year Representative for other societies gave me valuable insight into the committee’s work behind the scenes. Through working closely with different Treasurers, I’ve seen firsthand how important it is to maintain accurate records, track budgets carefully, and ensure transparency in all financial matters. A strong financial organisation is essential to keeping a society running smoothly.

I would love to work closely with the Students’ Union to ensure that all procedures are followed correctly and that events can run without financial obstacles. I understand that this role requires attention to detail, reliability, and clear communication, especially when supporting other committee members with budgeting and funding decisions.

As a class representative, I’ve developed organisational skills, responsibility, and the ability to manage tasks efficiently, all of which are crucial for a Treasurer. I’m proactive, dependable, and ready to take on the financial responsibility that comes with this role. I would be committed to ensuring our funds are managed carefully so the society can continue to grow and thrive!
