Hi!
I’d love to be the Welfare Officer for Analogue magazine because I really care about cultivating spaces where creativity and wellbeing go hand in hand. To me, art and culture thrives where people feel supported and genuinely valued, not just for what they produce, but for who they are.
I’m on the Youth Advisory Board for The Mix, a youth mental health service, where I contribute to discussions around young people’s wellbeing and help shape initiatives that prioritise inclusion. This role has strengthened my ability to empathise and approach sensitive issues with discretion and responsibility.
I’ve also worked on a magazine driven by peer review and collaboration, where open dialogue and constructive feedback shaped each final release. I would love to foster that same spirit at Analogue by creating a forum where contributors can uplift and credit each others work, offering suggestions and building a cohesive, community-driven publication we can all be proud of.
University gets isolating, and I’d love for Analogue to be a refuge for young creatives. I would love to collaborate with non-artistic societies to create “art for all” nights, where we can integrate art with unrelated disciplines and learn from other cultures and interests. Community is central to the language of art, and I hope to position Analogue at the heart of the UCL cultural hub!
I love everything this magazine stands for, and would love to support all of you guys with anything you need behind the pages! 💌
Sounds fun and I love talking to people.
