Alternative Proteins Society: Welfare Officer

I've been the society's treasurer, social media officer, and currently president across all 4 years of my study at UCL so far, and I would love to keep supporting this community going forward when it needs an extra hand!

The welfare officer is an important role: we don't expect welfare concerns to come up often at all, but when they do, it takes compassion, active listening, and problem solving skills to do it right. I've been co-chairing the UCL Medical School's Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion student committee from Aug 2025, where I supported students with wellbeing concerns and channelling feedback to the staff leadership team. It will be great to utilise my experience and skills for yet another cause I'm passionate about :)
