I want to take on the role of Vice President because I believe the Albanian Society can continue to grow as a stronger and more unified presence within UCL. Over the past year, I have seen how much this society means to its members, not only as a social space but as a reminder of home and shared identity. We have built something valuable, and I want to help develop it further with clear direction and strong organisation.
Serving as Events Officer gave me practical insight into the coordination, communication, and reliability required to deliver successfully. It allowed me to engage directly with members and understand how the society operates behind the scenes. That experience would shape how I approach the role of Vice President.
As Vice President, I would focus on strengthening cohesion within the committee, ensuring clear communication, accountability, and follow-through. I would also aim to broaden our visibility within UCL and represent our community with professionalism and confidence.
I understand that this position carries accountability, not just recognition. Above all, I want the Albanian Society to remain a space where students feel proud of their identity and confident in representing it. Our heritage reflects resilience and unity, and I believe our leadership should reflect those same values. I am ready to take on this responsibility with commitment and consistency.
Shumë faleminderit,
Samira Lekaj
