Albanian Society: President

Pershendetje,

 I am standing for re-election as President of the UCL Albanian Society, as I have still more to give and contribute to our incredible community at UCL. Since my election in March 2025, I have taken bold, necessary steps that have made our society more inclusive, professional, and ever-growing. Some achievements include:

• Membership has grown and broken records, with this year's society, under my leadership, having the largest number of members registered, implying trust and confidence with this as my favourite accomplishment!
• Expanded the committee to include 3 new positions, Vice-President, General Secretary and Social Media Secretary, marking a shift away from concentrated to devolved power, allowing a smoother flow of work and greater inclusivity.
• UCL Albanian Society partnered with the UKAP Foundation, bringing 4 UKAP panel events to UCL and cementing our partnership in a written formal agreement under my leadership. That being said, we have expanded the nature of our social events, promising to bring exciting changes and break away from traditional (and often boring) meet and greets!
• Co-hosted Kosovo Independence Day, selling 220+ tickets and increasing our society's reach with other fellow Albanian society universities, taking the lead on crucial cultural events.

That being said, I would be honoured to continue my work as President, promising to cement these changes and learning from this year to ensure next year is even better.
