Albanian Society: General Secretary

UCL's Albanian Society has become a thriving community, and  (unofficially) one of the best AlbSoc in London!!

Last year as VP, I:

• Founded a new partnership between UCL and the University of Prishtina to launch a programme that gives students the opportunity to visit Kosovo, fully funded, to connect with students, institutions, and our community 
• Helped organise some of our biggest events
• Hosted our first ever AlbSoc Girls event
• Helped to increase the number of socials so we could actually see each other more

Now I want to build on that momentum.

My Priorities for 2026/7:

More Consistent Socials

• Regular, well-planned socials (not once-a-term appearances)
• Mix of big events + smaller consistent meetups
• Making sure first years actually feel included

Professional & Career Events

• Alumni networking panels
• Internship and careers evenings
• Connecting AlbSoc members to opportunities across law, finance, politics & medicine
• Building links that continue beyond graduation

 Continuing the UCL–Prishtina Programme

• Growing the partnership
• Securing more funded opportunities
• Making this engagement a permanent part of AlbSoc

Stronger Community Beyond UCL

• Keeping alumni involved
• Creating a network we can rely on
• Making AlbSoc something that lasts after uni

I bring experience, organisation, and energy, but most importantly, I care about this community.
