Aikido Club: Treasurer

Hi, my name is Abby, I am currently a year 1 civil engineering student. I would like to nominate myself for the position of Treasurer of the Aikido Club, as being part of this club has been a genuinely positive experience for me, and I would like to contribute more actively to a club I value. I am organised, responsible and I pay close attention to details, which are essential skills for managing a club’s budgets. I am also willing to learn and develop new skills, I see this role as an opportunity to challenge myself with leadership responsibilities. I hope to gain experience in financial management and supporting the organisation of club activities and events.

Lastly, I view this role as a chance to work closely with the rest of the committee and club members and help the club continue to grow. I am excited to take on this responsibility and support the club in a positive way.
