Women in Finance Society: Treasurer

Hi everyone! My name’s Celine, and I’m currently a First-Year Representative for UCL Women in Finance. I’m running for Treasurer because I believe I can continue to keep our society financially sustainable, allowing us to expand initiatives while keeping them accessible for everyone.

With my experience in finance, budgeting, and fundraising, I can maintain a well-structured financial plan that supports the growth of our society. As treasurer of the society, I will:

== Optimize budget allocation making sure that every event and initiative is properly and deliberately funded in a way that maximises their impacts. 

== Maintain responsible financial management to ensure that our resources are used efficiently to continue delivering the high quality of events and opportunities we provide. 

My background in financial planning has provided me with firsthand experience not only in responsible fund management, but also adaptability and collaboration, including being:

1. Head of Finance for my annual school production– where I handled the financial modelling and budgeting for a production attended by 1,600 audience members.
2. Vice President of Sondaicus, a non-profit– where I devised and managed funding strategies and contracts totaling over GBP 7,000.

As a First-Year Rep in WinF, I’ve been able to see the incredible opportunities and events we provide, and I hope to serve the society further, helping grow our initiatives that are inclusive and beneficial for all our members.
