Election post

Women belong at every table in finance, not as exceptions, but as leaders. Breaking into a male-dominated industry comes with challenges, but the right networks, mentorship, and opportunities can make all the difference.
As First-Year Rep for the society, I contributed to Share the Vision 2025, helping bring industry leaders directly to students. As Head of Events at UCL ESG Society, I secured top speakers from JPMorgan, BlackRock, and Fidelity and built industry partnerships that delivered record-breaking engagement. Now, I want to bring that same ambition and impact to WinF, making our events more than just networking opportunities.
My Vision for 2024/25:
- Expanding industry exposure via exclusive office visits and in-person networking events with top firms.
- Cross-institutional collabs with LSE, Imperial, KCL, and more to expand our reach.
- Earlier internship panels for Spring and Summer internships to give members a competitive edge.
- Interactive, high-impact events beyond panels with debates, case study workshops, and hands-on finance simulations.
- Career & skills development via introducing more CV workshops, technical skills training, and interview prep sessions to help members secure top roles.
Women in Finance has the platform, the community, and the ambition, and as Head of Events, I will ensure that every event not only educates and connects but actively opens doors for women.
