Welsh Society: Outreach Officer

As a native Welsh and Polish speaker the importance of expanding the reach of Welsh culture and language is of great importance. In the past, I have been able to bridge language and cultural barriers between Polish people in my local area and the Welsh community. In addition to my personal experiences I have partaken in projects such as Siarter Iaith, aiming to expand the inclusion and use of the Welsh language and culture. Moreover, I have also previously managed a social media account and engaged in framing projects for a Welsh language cinema in local establishments in the past which involved professional bilingual language transactions which I believe will be useful skills if I receive this role within the Welsh society
