I am running to be WP Social Secretary for the 25/26 season to improve the togetherness, inclusivity and profile of the club. I have several key proposals that include
1. Running more socials (in order to grow the social profile of the club)
2. Balance socials between events that are drinking oriented and events that don't involve drinking (for our non-drinkers)
3. Be organised about social events so everyone has sufficient notice (to get as many people at as many socials as possible)
4. Look at the possibility of entering the UCL 5-a-side league
5. Work with the media sec to try and secure us sponsorship
6. Utilise the social events to recruit more members, specifically more women in line with the plans to eventually create a women's team
I hope I can count on your vote, any questions feel free to msg me.

Hey everyone! I’m running for Social Secretary of our beloved UCL Waterpolo Club next year, and would love to get your vote to make this upcoming academic year a fun, social and exciting one for all players within the team.

Socials are a crucial part of any sport club and through the regular socials I aim to organise, our chemistry in and out of the pool will strengthen and our team spirit will be as tight-knit as ever!

Although this year was a great one from a social standpoint, I aim to increase the frequency of events and the variety equally. From pub nights, to pub crawls, to themed nights, to regular Scala appearances, to joint socials with other societies, to formal dinners, to bigger events and much more, I’ll make sure there’s always something figuring on the calendar. I would obviously be open to suggestions and would love to hear from the team as to what they want to do and when, but the general feedback I have been getting is that there is a need for more regular social events!

I'm ready to put in the effort to make next year an unforgettable one for UCL Waterpolo, and that starts with the socials!
