Election post

Hiya, Val here!
UCL TKD holds a special place in my heart, and after all the sweat and tears I’ve put in this year, I’m not ready to vanish just yet! I originally wanted to be Social Media Sec, but 2024 had other plans, and I stepped up as President. Now, I’m excited to return to my original goal and take on the Social Media role.
Having worked closely with social media this year and in previous clubs, I know the dedication and attention it needs. I’ve posted a few things here and there—stories, cheeky training reels—and as a non-committee last year. I love working with Canva and have used it extensively to create content. I enjoy filming, capturing photos, editing them, and presenting everything in an aesthetically pleasing way. So I’m excited to continue that creative energy for our social media.
Now for the upcoming year, some things I’d love to work on: a comp vlog, more photo coverage, some funny (but seriously cool) merch.
With more time on my hands next year, I’m confident I can elevate our social media presence. Let’s be honest—you’ve seen me handle the role of President, and (hopefully) I’ve done more than just a solid job, so you can trust me to take this on! If you’re looking for cringe-worthy videos and trending content, I’m your go-to person. Plus, I already have access to UCL TKD’s Instagram, so the transition will be smooth. The real difference? I’ll finally be able to dedicate all my time and energy to social media, not just a small portion of it.
