I am so excited to be running for Women in Surgery Chair! As a core committee member for the past 2 years, I’ve played a key role in organising UCL’s renowned Women in Surgery Conference and am eager to drive the society forward.

My previous experience includes WiNS Finance Director and Pre-Clinical Education Officer for Endocrinology. My expertise in leadership, education and finance equips me with the experience and passion to drive UCL Women in Surgery forward.

My Goals:

  1. Continued exposure to Surgical Specialties - Extending opportunities across both Term 1 + 2, ensuring year-round engagement
  2. Mentorship Scheme Expansion – Increasing accessibility so more students can connect with mentors in their desired specialties
  3. Panel Discussions & Surgical Skills Workshops – More frequent sessions throughout the year to enhance practical skills and career insights
  4. Inter-Uni Collaboration - more chances to meet like-minded people!
  5. WiNS Conference & Key Events – Continuing the success of the WiNS Conference alongside additional initiatives such as an International Women’s Day Symposium

Striving to inspire, support, and empower future surgeons, I am committed to listening to your voices, fostering inclusivity, and leaving a lasting impact on this society - one that continues to uplift and champion the next generation of women in surgery.
