The fight for justice is an obligation upon us all. SJP provides an opportunity to actively take a stand and to call for the liberation of Palestine on-campus and beyond. Having served as President of SJP last year, I am incredibly familiar with the society and I am keen to continue this activism as Treasurer this year. Raising awareness about the ongoing genocide in Palestine, as well as the decades-long occupation of Palestine, is incredibly important and it is vital that we all - both as individuals and collectively - do all that we can for all oppressed groups.
