Society of Engineering, Architecture and Design (SEAD): Outreach Officer

Being an outreach officer is an important role to expand the opportunities that SEAD can give its members beyond our current network, which is important for connecting students with the wider field of architecture. Whether that be connecting students to inspiring titans of the industry, arranging more visits to local firms and offices, or visiting schools to spread architecture as an option for the university. I have experience working in student leadership positions, and have spoken at schools and UCAS events about architecture throughout the first year. I'm excited to bring that experience and the skills I've learnt to the role.

As a first year MEng student I am super eager to nominate myself for a Design/Communications position in the team! I've already met some of the 2nd and 3rd years on the MEng and they were really sweet and cool (role models), doing things so seamlessly !!!
I would love to help incoming first years giving tips and tricks, but also first-hand taking on more responsibilities within the society, and getting to know other SEAD members! Having a D.T background from school, I love design, but also as an architecture student I'm learning to combine the more rough and precise design processes, so this will be great. Please vote for me!
