Hi, I'm Sally!

SingSoc has been an incredible source of community, belonging, and support. Being part of this community has shown me the importance of having a home away from home. Whether through events, festive gatherings, or simply knowing that we have one another, SingSoc brings us together in ways that make life abroad so much more meaningful. That’s why I am running for Sponsorships Director—to give back to this community and help create even more opportunities for us to connect, grow, and thrive together. Sponsorships are not just about securing funding but about building long-term relationships that add value to our experiences. With my passion for networking and strong communication skills, I aim to strengthen partnerships that benefit our society, making our events more accessible, engaging, and impactful.

I hope to:

1. Strengthen existing sponsorships – Maintain and maximize the impact of our current sponsors to continue supporting SingSoc
2. Expand our network – Collaborate with up-and-coming enterprises in both the UK and Singapore to provide students with greater career exposure and networking opportunities
3. Increase sponsorship perks - Work with businesses to secure more discounts on daily essentials, such as groceries, dining, and transport, making student life more affordable
