I am interested in becoming Vice president as I believe that such an opportunity would be good to not only bring forward new ideas into the society, but also to build on the strong sense of community in school of pharmacy. As events officer last year, I was able to gain invaluable experience as to how the society is run, from meetings to the execution of plans, I can confidently say I learned a lot.
As Vice president, I will be able to build on this foundation, further helping to strengthen the society’s impact on the student body. I am confident that my dedication, experience, and vision make me a strong candidate for this role. I hope to be able to support the president in their vision for the society, as well as helping to implement some of my own visions along with that of the student community in order to bring forward events and results that everyone will enjoy.

Hiii, I’m Angela! You may recognise me as the current SOPSoc Charity Lead, although next year I hope to be your Vice President. It goes without saying that serving as Charity Lead for the past academic year has given me first-hand experience of what a crucial role in the committee requires, alongside familiarising me with the inner workings of our society. I’ve also been very fortunate in being elected President of the UCL Armenian Society — this experience has allowed me to exercise my leadership skills and realise what it takes to keep members of my community happy and fulfilled. Needless to say, I have loved being a part of the 24/25 SOP committee, and would be very happy to continue sharing my skills and expertise with another phenomenal committee next year, so that we can have another amazing year at SOP. :)
