Nicholas Cassell

Hi, I'm Nick, I've been in RAX for 3 years now and going into next year it would be great to give back to the club, doing the same role I held in 23/24.

Reasons why i could do it:

  • i like running
  • i run sometimes
  • i can write emails
  • i've done this role before
  • im not sure what else i can add to this detailed resume but i will happily accept any votes
Tom Davidson

Hi! My name is Tom, I'm a first year studying History and I'm running to become the RAX Tours and Competitions Officer for 2025/6.

I nominated myself for this position because I love to run, and would love to give everybody the opportunity to experience running in a variety of ways. Whether it be through cross-country at BUCS to races like the Brighton Half or Hyde Park relays or to the amazing Morocco Trail Camp. I'm so interested in expanding this opportunity to all because of the Morocco trip in November this year, being not only a running but also cultural experience. If elected, this would be one of my priorities, aiming to get even more people participating in international trips!

Racing is also incredibly fun, being something that I am just getting into myself. It allows runners to set a goal, and work towards something which is significant if you want to become a better runner, as it allows you to build up consistency. I would love to increase opportunity to all members of RAX, from just beginning to advanced runners to take part (and hopefully win!) more events throughout the year.

I not only love to run, but travelling is one of my favourite things to do. It is amazing to experience new cultures and learn about the intricacies of different communities' way of life; I find that running goes hand in hand with this!

If what I have laid out above sparks your interest, vote for me! I am happy to discuss anything related with anybody.
