You will lead the Research Students' Network and oversee the development of an engaging, dynamic and rewarding community of research students within the Union and represent the needs and interests of research students. Working with the Postgraduate Officer, represent these collective interests to UCL and beyond.

Navigating the world of research can often feel isolating. We spend countless hours buried in books, running experiments, analysing data, and writing papers - all while facing the pressures. But research doesn’t have to be a solitary journey. As your Research Students’ Officer, I am committed to fostering a supportive, connected, and thriving research community. Having previously served as a student union officer, I have worked in external affairs, administrative coordination, and project management, successfully bridging the gap between students and institutional bodies.
- Enhancing Well-being: I hope to advocate for better mental health support, social engagement opportunities, and academic well-being initiatives to help no one struggles alone.
- Building a Stronger Research Community: I hope to establish networking events, interdisciplinary discussion forums, and peer support groups to create meaningful connections across faculties.
- Amplifying Your Voice: Your concerns matter. I hope to work to improve communication channels between research students and university administration, ensuring your needs are heard and addressed.
Because I will genuinely and passionately represent you. My goal is not just to hold a title, but to be an advocate, facilitator, and problem-solver for research students. Your challenges are my challenges, and together, we can build a more inclusive, supportive, and empowering research environment.
