Krish Goyal

Hey everyone!
I’m Krish, and I’d love to be your treasurer for UCL’s Punjabi Society.

I’m a Mechanical Engineering student, so working with numbers, problem-solving, and staying organised is basically what I do every day. I enjoy working with budgets and making sure things run efficiently, which is exactly what a treasurer needs to do. I’ll make sure our finances are well-managed, so we can fund the best events, competitions, and socials without worrying about money holding us back.

I’m going to be committed to securing sponsorships, keeping track of expenses, or making sure we’re making the most of our budget. I really want to help the society grow and make sure everyone has an amazing experience.

So if you want someone who’s good with numbers, organised, and committed to making the society thrive, vote for me!

Abhiraj Dhillon

I am thrilled to announce my candidacy for Treasurer of UCL’s Punjabi Society.

As a current first-year representative, I’ve gained valuable insight into the workings of our society, and I am excited to take on this responsibility to ensure our financial stability and success. My goal is to ensure the society remains financially secure, transparent, and able to support the incredible events and initiatives we all value. With your trust, I will work diligently to represent the best interests of every member and ensure we have the resources to thrive.

As Treasurer, I will focus on financial transparency and accountability. Regular updates on our budget and expenditure will be shared with the committee, ensuring clarity and trust in all financial matters. I will also prioritise efficient budgeting, working closely with other committee members to allocate funds for our key events, from cultural performances to socials, without overspending.

Fundraising will be a key focus for me. By exploring sponsorships, partnerships, and creative fundraising initiatives, I will work to boost our finances and support even more diverse and exciting activities for the society.

Above all, my approach will be rooted in collaboration and communication. I will always be available to answer any questions about finances and will ensure that members' voices are heard in decisions that affect our collective success.

I ask for your support in creating a prosperous future for UCL’s Punjabi Society!
