Witam wszystkich Polaków i przyjaciół Polski (Hello Poles and friends of Poland)

I'm Kasia Kramer and I'm standing for re-election as your Treasurer. Since becoming your Treasurer in November, Polish Society has gone from strength to strength! Coincidence? No ;)

As your Treasurer 24/25 I have:

  • Masterminded, organised and hosted SSEES-Mas!
  • Increased membership of Polish Society by over 400% through the Cultural Fair and outreach initiatives
  • Helped organised 5+ events, including Disco-Euro Karaoke (get your tickets here)
  • Travelled far and wide to gather baked goods (including the famed Football Cake from Costco and pączki for Tłusty Czwartek)
  • Developed institutional partnerships with 30+ cultural societies, at UCL and beyond!

But what would my tenure as Treasurer 2025/26 look like?

  • Referendum on the fate of UCL Leaders
  • More baked goods (I'll budget for it)
  • Polish Society families initiative, to boost engagement with our incoming freshers
  • Outreach program to recruit Polish students to UCL
  • More and MORE (themed!) socials
  • A bigger and better-than-ever Polish Society!

In light of conflict on our borders,  it cannot be more important to have a strong Polish Society promoting our culture at UCL. Under my leadership, I will build on the work I've already begun, further developing Polish Society as a true  home-away-from-home, a place for Polish culture to be celebrated by all. 

Jeszcze Polska nie zginęła! (Poland is not yet lost)
