HI everyone! I'm Ashley, I'm been with UCL Pole Fitness since last October :) This society means a lot to me and I've done so much more than I could've ever imagined in such a short time, and I want to give back to the society.
As social media manager, I hope to be more active on our Instagram page and showcasing our amazing polers - especially during competition season and showcases! I'm also definitely guilty of stalking pole accounts for cute routine inspo, so I hope to be able to feature some of our own members' routines online in a little highlight reel.
I hope to increase the sense of community between all of us, I'm sure many of you will agree with me in saying pole has made us so many new friends and brought us closer together <33
Hello, UCL Pole Fitness family!
I am excited to put my name forward for the social media manager position within our amazing community. For those who don't know me yet, I have been managing our social media account for a while now and have absolutely loved creating content and engaging with all of you over these past few months. I have made Instagram stories and posts for class schedules, socials, varsity and showcases! Previously, I have managed social media accounts for school clubs and personal interests. With my experience, I am confident I can help highlight our events and continue building our community, fostering a supportive and fun atmosphere. I also want to promote pole fitness to the UCL community and encourage more people to join us!

✨ Alexia for Secretary & Social Media Manager ✨
As someone who loves to organise and design things, I’m running for both secretary and social media manager. By combining these roles, I’ll make sure that all our communications and branding are cohesive and unified.
My aims for the role:
- Cohesive communication across all platforms: whether you’re looking at our insta, WhatsApp, or your emails, you’ll be able to find all the information you could need about the pole society and what we’ve got going on. My experience running professional social media platforms will ensure it's engaging and clear.
- Refresh and revamp our branding and merch: our branding will be cohesive across all platforms, and I’ll ensure there’s cute kit and merch available so that you can rep your favourite society whenever you want. My work as a graphic designer will help me build a strong graphic identity for the society.
- Organisation at all levels: all events and classes will be available on a public calendar that you can follow to ensure you know exactly when everything is happening and don’t miss out on any of the fun. My time as a planner girlie and teacher will be put to work!
- Accessibility for all: ensure all communications and social media content are fully accessible, with emails being screen readable, alt text for all images, and all graphics being colourblind friendly. Hi I’m Izel !
I’d love to be your social media manager! Being in the committee this year as first year rep broadened my understanding of many of the committee roles, including social media manager. Being myself quite active on instagram, I am already familiar with it. I’m excited to do cute, funny, cheeky posts and stories for the society ( hopefully making other people want to join :) ). Pole is such a great society with a lot of amazing people and I’d be very happy to share that on social media, whether you want to be posted or not you can always view the others and get inspirations from our stunning performers or get all the updates about socials, showcases and everything else organised by the society! I am also always open to ideas/ constructive feedback if you feel like something should be done differently:)
