What I’ll Deliver:

♠️ Regular and well-organized society events, not just one-off events, but a consistent calendar.
♦️ More competitive play, bigger tournaments, more inter-uni matchups, and a chance to put our best players forward.
♣️ Cross-society collaborations, bigger audiences, more variety, and new connections through shared events.
♥️ A welcoming space for all players, whether you’re a seasoned pro or new to the game, you’ll have a place at the table.

If you want a more active, better-connected Poker Society, vote for Theo as Social Secretary. Let’s make this the best year yet.

Ipek Mira Sogancioglu

Hi, I’m Ipek Mira Sogancıoğlu, a first-year Architecture BSc student, and I’m running to be your Social Secretary for the UCL Poker Society! Originally from Turkey, I’ve had a passion for poker for years. To me, poker is more than just a game—it's about skill, strategy, psychology, and building a strong community. I want to help grow our society, organise exciting socials, and make our Friday games even more engaging.

Poker should be an environment where everyone, from beginners to experienced players, feels welcome. As Social Secretary, I will focus on increasing social events and collaborating with other societies to create a lively poker community at UCL. I plan to organise poker-themed pub nights and other fun events that bring people together.

As an architecture student, I have excellent organisational and time management skills, which are crucial for this role. Balancing deadlines and coordinating projects is second nature to me, and I will bring the same dedication to organising our society's activities.

I’m passionate about poker and committed to making UCL Poker Society a more dynamic space. Vote for me, and let’s build a stronger, more exciting Poker Society together!
