Piano Society: Treasurer

Hello! I'm Jiwan, a second year Chemical Engineering student from Korea running for the position of your Treasurer.
As a current Publicity Officer of the society, I have been deeply involved in its growth. Now, I want to take on a more financial role to ensure the society continues to flourish. My experience in organising lessons, promoting events, and working closely with the committee has given me a strong understanding of the society’s needs.

My Goals as Treasurer:

1. Ensuring Financial Stability: I will create a clear and transparent budgeting system to track society funds, ensuring all expenses and income are well-documented and efficiently managed.
2. Optimising Budget Allocation: I will ensure that membership fees are used effectively, prioritising essential resources like venue hire, and event logistics to maximise value for members.
3. Supporting the Committee & Society Growth: I will work closely with the President and other committee members to ensure financial decisions align with our long-term goals, helping the society expand and offer even better experiences to members.
    

As someone who has been dedicated to the society since its founding, I want to ensure its continued success by making responsible financial decisions that allow us to host more events, bring in more members, and strengthen our community. I would love the opportunity to serve as your Treasurer and contribute to making UCL Piano Society the best it can be.
