Pharmacology Society: Treasurer

My name is Elizaveta Kuzmina and this year I was a Social Media Executive at this society. I have played an important role in drawing attention to society, engaging with students and promoting new ideas for development. Through this role, I have developed a deep understanding of the society’s operations and am eager to contribute further by taking on the Treasurer position. During my internships, I analyzed drug supply costs, identified cost-effective suppliers, and worked with financial data to optimise distribution—directly relevant skills for managing society’s budget efficiently. 

I aim to clear the budgeting schemes for transparency and ease of tracking them, explore external funding opportunities to expand the resources and present a clear funding plan to optimise the spending on academic and social events. I aim to make the Pharmacology Society more engaging and financially sustainable. My past roles have equipped me with the ability to handle finances efficiently while ensuring that society thrives.

With my combined experience in financial management, society engagement, and analytical skills, I am confident that I can contribute effectively as Treasurer. I am committed to making the society’s finances transparent, securing funding for high-quality events, and ensuring a smooth financial operation for the next academic year.
