Hello, my name is Diego, and I’m thrilled to be running for the position of String Orchestra Manager for the UCL String Orchestra. As a passionate violinist, I’m excited by the opportunity to contribute to the orchestra in a meaningful way. Beyond supporting the logistical side of things, I also want to help elevate the orchestra by increasing our visibility and recognition. Through more strategic marketing and promotion, I believe we can put the UCL String Orchestra on the map and attract even more audiences to our performances. My goal is to foster a supportive, organised environment while also making sure the talent and hard work of our musicians gets the attention it truly deserves. However, above all, I want us all to have fun and play incredible repertoire.

Thank you for considering me for this exciting opportunity!

Hi! When I began my studies at UCL, Music Society was the first society I joined, and remains the most important to me. This year, as Freshers Rep, I've enjoyed being part of the committee, and have already learnt a fair bit about how the society runs! As a cellist, I've loved the time I've spent in String Orchestra this year, the rehearsals are definitely one of the highlights of my week! As manager I'd like to continue with the same enthusiasm and dedication as my predecessors, and aim to build on the already wonderful social aspects of the ensemble. Thank you!!
