gear sec is so much fun woooo lets run it back

i'll keep it short:
i was gear sec this year. i know what u need to know already. i love carrying heavy bags around, it's my passion.

Ayrton Akinyemi

I'm Ayrton, a Mechanical Engineering student going into my fourth year and final year at UCL. Muay Thai has been an important part of my university experience since I've joined, and as someone who has been consistently training, both at UCL sessions and externally at Bloodline Gym, I want an opportunity to give back to the society meaningfully.

I want to apply for the Gear Secretary position, as I've already helped with gear multiple times, even without being on the committee, so I understand what the role requires. Additionally, being based near Somers Town means that I can easily get to training sessions and handle any gear-related responsibilities when needed.

Furthermore, I have prior experience in a position of responsibility as events executive within the UCL Mechanical Engineering Society, so I understand what it takes to be part of a committee and contribute effectively. With this being my last year at UCL, I want to make a lasting impact on the society and ensure everything runs smoothly for our members.

I'm committed, reliable, and passionate about Muay Thai, and I've enjoyed being part of this community. If elected, I will make sure the gear is well organised, maintained, and always available when needed. I would love the opportunity to give back to the society and help support the amazing group of people that make it so special. I hope to have your support.

Thank you!

Finn Arnold

My name is Finn, I am a second year law student and I am standing for the gear secretary position

I am a committed member of the club and a recipient of the bloodline sponsorship scheme, so I am keen to help out with the club in any way possible. As a law student, I have a relatively lenient timetable that allows me to attend every session, which is key as it is important for the gear secretary to be there to help set up sessions. As well, I have experiece managing and being responsible for kit as a result of my position as Football Captain for the law society. These traits combined with my passion for the club would make me an excellent fit for the role.  Thank you for your consideration
